About ANFFE:

Founded in 1977, it is a professional organization that brings together the main Spanish fertilizer manufacturers and foreign producers active in Spain. Its mission is, among others, the promotion of an adequate use of fertilizers and the use of quality products, with which a sustainable productive agriculture is achieved.

ANFFE has created in 2022 a new category of members in the Association, called a "linked" member. This includes, among others, manufacturers of fertilizers and by-products through industrial processes that can be used as fertilizers or as raw materials for their production, and manufacturers of fertilizers through chemical transformation that do not meet the minimum requirements for production capacity or national sales volume of ordinary members.

The companies represented by ANFFE, with 21 production centers in Spain and more than 3,000 direct jobs, constitute an essential and strategic sector of the national economy and industry, since they produce basic inputs for agriculture and food production. It is an advanced, modern industry and a leader in the circular economy, with an activity that guarantees agricultural activity in our country, reducing the risk of a high degree of dependence on imports from third countries.

The fertilizer manufacturing sector is fully aligned with the objectives of the European Union in relation to economic, social and environmental sustainability, and is playing an important role in the commitment to lead the energy transition towards a low carbon economy.
